     "Welcome! The Albemarle County Republicans are local residents who believe in personal responsibility, less reliance on government, and taxes sufficient to meet real needs. We volunteer our time to support local, state, and national candidates. If you want to join in the fun, or simply want to learn more, please come to one of our events -- we'd love to meet you!"

• The Albemarle County Republican Committee is the conservative political party organization for Albemarle County, Virginia. We're not only a "committee," but a large organization of regular folks who believe in conservative values.
• We provide a forum for promoting conservative ideas including election of conservative local and Virginia candidates. The Committee sponsors numerous activities throughout the year including monthly breakfasts with speakers from throughout the Commonwealth, quarterly membership meetings, and family-oriented activities such as our Annual Fall Picnic and Flag Day Appreciation picnic.
• Our monthly breakfast meeting is held at the Golden Corral Restaurant at 8:30am on the second Saturday of each month. Our Speakers have included Jerry Kilgore, Congressmen Virgil Goode and Eric Cantor, Lt. Gov. John Hager, State Delegates Rob Bell, Steve Landes, Watkins Abbit, Paul Harris, and Jeannemarie Devolites, state senators, political "gurus" such as Dr. Robert Holsworth (VCU Center for Public Policy) and Ken Stroupe (UVa Center for Politics), and many other local and statewide office officials and candidates.
